Sales...It's what makes the world go around. But does the word "Sales" make you and/or your team scream "Yuck"? I know it's a common feeling because I experience it every time I interview a new team within a wealth management, accounting practice, or law firm: Typically, the CEO or team leader loves the words Sales and Business Development, because it means more top line growth, but the rest of the team, which was originally hired to provide exceptional client service and technical expertise, and is now asked to have a growth mindset at the firm, despises it.
In this video, I provide my response to this aversion, and hope to make everyone love the word Sales the way I do. Because Sales = Solving Problems. If you don't believe that, then you may not truly believe in your service offering.
